Alexandra Star Val Kilmer Recalls The Time When He ‘Couldn’t Wait To Kiss' Angelina Jolie But She Fell In Love With Brad Pitt
Apart from her relationship with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie was also reportedly romantically involved with Alexandra co-star Val Kilmer. The actor who recently released his new memoir I’m Your Huckleberry opened up about their romance
Whenever one talks about Angelina Jolie’s relationships, one automatically recalls her relationship with Brad Pitt. However, the Maleficent actress found love way before Brad Pitt happened to her and that was with her Alexander co-star Val Kilmer. Val Kilmer and Angelina Jolie found love in each other before Jolie went on to date and marry her now-ex-husband Brad Pitt. The actor laid his heart when he opened up about their romance in his new memoir I’m Your Huckleberry, which was released on Tuesday.
“When people ask me what Angelina is like, I always say she’s like other women and other superstars, but just more,” Kilmer wrote, as reported by Us Weekly. “More gorgeous,” he continued. “More wise. More tragic. More magic. More grounded. Is it worth it? Worth knowing people who require weeks of effort to understand even a little? Yes.” The same portal also reported “I couldn’t wait to kiss Angie, buy her [a] Gulfstream jet and have V+J painted in rainbow glory on the trail,” he wrote.
“She had recently adopted her first child, Maddox, and the paparazzi were obsessed with this postmodern Madonna, the perfect picture of unapproachable stardom and impossibly chic maternal instinct.”
But unfortunately, Kilmer and Jolie’s love saga had hit the dead-end when Jolie fell in love with Mr. & Mrs Smith co-star Pitt while they were filming which then caused a divorce from Jennifer Aniston in 2005. But this too didn’t last for long as Jolie and Pitt headed for a divorce. The good looking couple share six kids – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. The former couple became legally single in 2019, on the other hand, Aniston and Pitt have buried the hatchet as they are friends now.
